Belonging

Belonging is a series of fake plants made from photographs of objects. in itsfirst iteration for the exhibition Eat Play Love, a showcase placed in a multigenerational home. In this iteration, Belonging marks the flourishing of the newer household objects that found a way and sought new areas to exist and find belonging among the older aesthetics of the house in the house. Inspired by artificial plants, the photographs of those objects are worked into a sculptural form to create a sense of comfort and growth amidst displacement.
