constantly present,
compulsorily present,

as part of the city
as part of the ever moving urbanisation
The ubiquity of toilet paper across cities, buildings and homes marks it as a quiet constant of modern life. Its function is tied directly to use, where there are more people, it disappears more quickly, subtly indexing human presence and activity.
This kinetic installation translates that relationship into motion. Equipped with motors and interactive controls, it responds to visitor engagement by spinning, draping, and folding over time. The rolling of the paper takes on a clockwork quality, becoming a measure of activity within the space.
